The first three pictures are all of her bedroom, the door on the left of her bed leads to her bathroom, and the kitchen is directly across from the living room.

Sure, The Bronx was dangerous but that was Martin's neighborhood so it was no surprise that he decided to walk from his apartment to Valerie's. He walked inside of the building, there was really no difference from his, which is what he liked — having friends that you didn't have to pretend with. Just being real and humble. "Valerie! Help they want to rape me!" He knocked on the door, yelling as if he were going to get sexually molested.
Due to the Winter chill, he was wearing a waterproof black track jacket zipped all the way up along with relaxed fitted jeans and black and red Jordans. His hair was pushed back win gel like 'Dracula' would except he didn't have a widows peak. Along with all those shenanigans he had his black, rectangular framed eyeglasses. "Oh my god! They got me!" He slid his hands down the door as if he was falling to the floor.

Valerie only rolled her eyes when she heard Martin yelling from outside her apartment. "Very funny!" she called out at first as she began to make her way to the door -- only to feel a bit concerned when she heard his hands on the door, "Martin?" The neighborhood really wasn't the safest, so it wouldn't be a surprise for someone to get attacked and/or raped in her building... after all, she had been in a few scuffles where people have grabbed or groped her, being a stripper and all. Quickly scurrying to the door, she flung it open, her heart pounding for a second until she saw Martin there, not being raped.
"You ass!" she hit him in the chest, "Next time some big, strong, buff dude attacks you from behind, don't expect me to help!" she was yelling at him, though from the smile on her face you could tell she wasn't serious, grabbing him by the forearm and pulling him inside, glancing around the hallway before closing the door.

Martin began laughing so much that he looked like a seal clapping with no sound coming out of his mouth. "You fell for it!" he finally exclaimed. He then walked to the couch, "We should order a pizza and watch a movie!" He kicked off his shoes and placed them neatly beside the couch before laying down. "Are you mad?" Martin asked her, he knew she wasn't but he had to double check.
He sat up and pursed his lips together before saying, "We should watch Grease! Or..." He rose an eyebrow while looking to her and saying, "Something more different..." He looked to her for a while before saying, "Barbie's Magical Kingdom it's been forever since I have watched a Barbie movie." He widened his eyes as if he were surprised and excited.
"Anything cool happening lately?" Martin asked her while looking for a pizza place on his phone.

Valerie only shook her head, "Fuck you." she grinned, collapsing on the couch next to him and pulling up the long knit socks she wore on her feet then crossing her legs, laughing at his movie suggestions, "I got Barbie's Princess and the Pauper?" she raised an eyebrow, before sitting up again when he asked his question.
"Cool? Uh..." she bit her tongue, squinting for a second, "well..." she shrugged, "you'll never guess who I ran into at the strip club the other night," she looked at Martin, "you remember Austin Kennedy, right?" Of course he would, Val would always rant off about the guy to him back in high school, even cried to him after she found out she'd lost her virginity to him. Valerie told him everything, which made her feel a little bit antsy when it came to telling him about what exactly happened.

Martin raised an eyebrow, she still had that movie? "Let's watch that — for old times sake." He laughed before looking at the options. "Okay, we have Pizza Hut, Dominos and Little Ceasers — if we want something cheap." Martin said as he showed her the phone and then he shifted on his seat. His eyes widened when Val told him who she saw and where.
"Oh my gosh, no fucking way." Martin opened his mouth while his eyes widened slightly. "I remember him, of course! What did you strip for him or give him a lap dance? What if he had herpes?" He made a disgusted face before saying, "Ew, ew Ew." Martin moved his elbow on the backrest of the couch as he faced his body toward her, "So like what happened?" He asked now more serious than before.

"Dominoes!" Valerie smiled, brightly, then laid down on her stomach again, resting her chin on her palm as she watched Martin react to her seeing Austin, then tucking a strand of hair behind her ear, looking down, bashfully as she giggled, "Close."
Valerie nodded, biting her lip, trying to figure out how to explain it all, as the way he reacted made her a bit cautious to continue, "Just so you know, the club gets really dark, so I didn't know it was him when I got into a private room with him, alright?" she scrunched her eyebrows, suddenly a little bit embarrassed admitting this, "I was starting to give him a lap dance, starting to," she held up a finger to emphasize a point, "anyway, that's how I found out it was him and I freaked out," she sat up again, crossing her legs and fiddling with her nails, "we got to talking and um," she scratched the back of her head, "somehow... we kissed."
Looking away from him and shutting her eyes and fidgeting her arms slightly, "It's not that big of a deal even though we are sort of dating now, I think, kind of, yeah!"

"Kay." Martin said smiling openly as he dialed up the number. He waited until she finished telling her the whole story of how it went down because just talking on the phone out of the blue would be rude. He put his hand to his mouth before saying, "Shut up. No you didn't... How did you let him?" he asked her, holding the call until later. This was juicy information.
"Okay, so you led him to the room without knowing it was him and then you began doing your sexy thing and when you finally noticed it was him, like what did he say?" Martin asked her as he arranged his eyeglasses on the bridge of his nose.
He then laughed slightly, "You guys are dating? You guys didn't just kiss, you must have done something to make him want to make you as his boo thang." he grinned softly, as if suggesting if they did the dirty.

"He caught me by surprise!" Valerie fiddled with her hair, anxiously, continuously twirling the ends around in her fingers, then buried her face in her hands as she laughed, "He called me 'Fetus' the second he recognized me," she shook her head, realizing how awkward it had been in that moment.
Uncovering her face when she looked at Martin, "We didn't-- no," she shook her head, "God no! Well, not 'god, no', just, hey, I didn't seduce him, I swear! Part of me isn't even exactly sure how it all led to all of that," she threw her hands in the air and let them fall to her sides, "he said he wants to get to know me..." she shrugged, cocking her head to the side, "I don't know, do you think this is a good idea?"
She looked at him, pleedingly. Valerie was always so used to being quite sure of herself in decisions like that, and it frustrated her when she was indecisive in her choices -- it wasn't as if she didn't like the idea of dating Austin, it just something she never pictured herself doing. It was a foreign environment, and it wasn't like she just went around dating, her love life was definitely a lot more difficult after she became a stripper, what with separating the creeps from the good guys.

Martin kept a big, chipmunk smile on his face as he watched her cover her face. He then blinked so many times before saying, "Ha!" he then shrugged, "Well, you don't look nothing like fetus now and I bet he took that by surprise, didn't he?" he pointed at her before putting his finger down and staring at her when she moved her hands away.
"I think he wants to swing. I mean, why would any guy be around a girl if they didn't find her the least pleasant. And you guys looked like a married couple back then. But - I did hear something." Martin nodded, looking to her with serious eyes as he nodded slowly. "I don't know if this affects your relationship with him because past mistakes hardly ever count in the present but-" he took a deep breath and said, "I think he has a kid with Lauren, that one girl who used to hang around him a lot." Martin was trying to be a good friend and by being a good friend he had dish out what he knew that would somehow affect her.
"I am so sorry if I said it so sudden we can eat pizza, and you can let your words out. I am here for you, honey." Martin put a hand over hers, he called all the girls 'honey' even his manager, Betsy.

"He has a kid?!"
Val tried to blink it off but her heart dropped into her stomach like a rock. Uncrossing her legs and scratching the back of her head as she turned away, playing with her hair as she tried to think of how she should react, she kept glancing at Martin in confusion, not knowing whether or not she should be angry. She shouldn't, right? Unless he knew he had a kid. What if he knowingly had a kid and went into that strip club? That's bad parenting! But then again... it's something that happened in the past. Austin couldn't possibly -- but then again, Valerie didn't know the guy all that well enough to back him up and trust him. She practically jumped into a relationship with the guy after not seeing him for so long. What was she supposed to think?
She shook her head, "I... no, it's, I'm fine," she squinted, shaking her head and planting her feet on the floor, still not looking at Martin, pursing her lips, "Just, order the pizza," she brushed the hair out of her face, finally turning to him, scrunching her nose, "I can handle it."

Martin opened his mouth slightly while looking to her and lowering his eyebrows. He made her sad, didn't he? "Oh, honey, I didn't mean to make you sad..." he pursed his lips together before leaning close to her and hugging her tightly. He looked down before moving the hair away from her face and moving her head against his chest. "I'm sure he found out about it after he met you. I don't think any guy would be stupid enough to play with your emotions." he was her friend almost like a brother from another mother. Geez, if there was anyone playing with her he'd dump them in the gutter because he was ghetto and he had a gun in his apartment.
"Don't be sad." he smoothed her hair before frowning once again and moving away. "Okay, I'll order the pizza and we'll figure it out together." Martin nodded, raising both eyebrows in a way of making her feel better. He then picked his phone up and called Dominos. He ordered two pizzas, a 2-liter Coke and a chocolate lava crunch cake because they were going to be fat-asses today.

Valerie forced a laugh and nodded, "No guy should even think about hurting me knowing I have you," she ran her fingers through her hair then sighed, "if we're both single by the time we're thirty, will you marry me?" she joked, raising an eyebrow, "Though I don't see why you'd be single by that age, you're Martin Cervantes, of course you'll be married by then, obvi." she rolled her eyes, then smiled. Martin was too much like a brother for it to ever work out between them as more than a friendship. There'd always be that one somewhat awkward night, but other than that, Val couldn't see anything else happening.
Leaning back on the couch and propping her feet back up again, she huffed, "If I'd stuck to my original impression of him, I would've seen this coming," she shook her head, "but--" she bit her lip, "I shouldn't jump to conclusions, right?"

"I got mad kung-fu skills, they would have to think twice." Martin said after getting off the phone before laughing. "Here's the deal, if that happens, we'll get married just to say that we got married and you can wear a pretty white dress." he winked rather clumsily while opening his mouth with a cocky smile. "Here's what we shall do..." he said with a sly tone as he thought for a second.
Martin thought this was going to be a little risky, but it was the only way to find out, right? "Call him. If he really has changed, he will catch you up with his life and if he doesn't then it's because he's not worth it and I'll get the catering ready for our wedding." he said with a nod.

Valerie clapped her hands when he somewhat-accepted her kind-of-marriage proposal, then smiled, then her face dropped slightly when he brought up the idea of calling Austin. She rarely got nervous, but the idea made her mind cloud up. But it was just talking, right? It wasn't like she was going to go all ratchet on him.
She pulled on the ends of her hair, "W... what would I say?" she asked, sitting up now, scrunching her eyebrows, hesitating to get her phone out of her pocket. She stared at the screen, contemplating whether or not to dial the number.
