Despite what the burn blog believed, Cici's doctor's appointment was not about testing to see who her rightful father was. She'd been acting dehydrated and lethargic so Esme thought that it was really time that she get checked out again. She'd been pumped full of fluids and sent back on her merry little way though she still looked and clearly felt awful. Frozen yogurt was a treat to try and make her feel better but it seemed to have little effect on her horrible mood. The sky outside was a dark grey despite it being early afternoon but it'd been raining all day so it made sense, Esme supposed but she wanted a bright sunny day to bring out some sort of happiness in her daughter. "Itchy?" She asked with a concerned tone but Cici just shook her head and continued taking tiny bites of her frozen yogurt. Morning sickness was being a bitch which was why Esme was just sitting there waiting for Maxwell and watching her yogurt slowly melt. What if Cici's father wasn't Jonathan? What in the world would they do? Cassidy loved Jon and Jon clearly loved his little girl but shouldn't she have the right to know her rightful father? She was trying to think of what she would want if it were her and she always came to the same conclusion - if she had a father like Jonathan than she would not want to know that he wasn't her biological father. But was it her right to make that choice for her daughter? She didn't know what Cici would want, she only knew what she would want and that might not be what's best either. She wanted nothing more than to pretend that the burn blog post had no baring over her life and that it was all mindless accusations but there was a chance that Jonathan wasn't the father. She let out a heavy sigh before reaching over to hold her daughter's small hand in her own. "Max is going to come and see us, baby." She whispered affectionately before kissing her on the forehead and running her fingers through her soft hair. "He's really excited to see his little Cici." She was hoping that would excite her daughter but it just didn't seem like anything good not even her little kitten had gotten her very happy before she was once again tired out. "You can tell him all about your new kitten, I bet that he'd love to hear all about Waffle."

"Aunt Esme!"Madeline screamed from across the frozen yogurt place called 'Pinkberry.' Max could remember how when Madeline was little, she used to call strawberry pinkberry because she couldn't pronounce it right. Madeline was wearing little girl white Jordan, jean shorts, and a pink tank top. She had little red dots all over her shoulders/arms along with her legs and her tummy. Her curly brown hair was up in piggy tails and she looked all around adorable. Max, wearing matching white Jordans, cargo shorts, and a red and white "Life Guard" pull over hoodie had Madeline in his arms. After she screamed 'Aunt Esme!' she went back to burying her face into his neck. She had a fever, and was scratching all day today. Max spotted Esme after Madeline screamed for her, and walked over.
"I blame your kid for making my wife and my little M&M for having chicken poxs"Max said. Lucky, he had them when he was eight and they went away quickly. He sat Madeline down in a chair, handing her the frozen yogurt. Madeline took it putting a small smile on her face, before digging in. Max smiled down and her running a hand through her piggy tails. Before walking over to Cici and hugging her, "Hey hunny. How are you feeling?"he asked feeling her forehead before kissing it. Then going over to Esme and hugging her. "She has a fever... What's up? Why'd we have to talk?"he asked after kissing Esme's cheek, then sitting back down putting Madeline back onto his lap as she continue to eat as she lifted up her hand that had a spoon in it and gave Cici and Esme a wave.

Esme was happy to see that Madeline was doing better than Cici was! She didn't want her little niece to be sick like that. "Cici isn't doing good, Max, she had to go to the emergency room earlier for IV fluids because she was so dehydrated." She let out a heavy sigh before Cici moved onto her lap and buried her burning forehead into her neck. "She misses Hudson." What was she suppose to say to begin this?
"Have you read the burn blog today?" Her voice quivered as she continued stroking the side of her daughter's head, "We had sex... unprotected sex at the beach and.... other places before you completely gave up on me and on us for Rozzi." She didn't mean to say the last part. It just kind of slipped out! She adjusted her daughter in her arms before saying what she knew he probably didn't want to hear.
"She might be your's."
