The tall brunette entered the diner with a happy look on her face. Riley was very excited about meeting up with her friend Vincent. Well, just between you and I, she was hoping to take their friendship to another level. No, she did not want to go from friends to best friends. How lame would that be?
Riley was wearing a purple and blue flannel over a black tank top, blue colored skinny jeans and matching converse shoes. Her long eyelashes were curled and coated with a light touch of mascara, her high cheekbones emphasized with a bit of pink blush and her lips glazed with a nude lip gloss. The owl necklace around her neck chimed as she found her way to a booth and took a seat. The scent of Chanel no. 5 filled the air. Her earrings were scented as well, but they weren't as strong therefore no one could tell.
Upon looking out the window, Riley began to get somewhat nervous. Although she was usually sure of herself, she was filled with just the slight uneasiness. She tucked her very thick and wavy brown hair behind her ear as she looked around the diner.

Vince had a smile on his face as he got to the diner. Even if he was a bit uncomfortable wearing his tight, leather cowboy speedo-shorts that he needed to wear for work later underneath his actual jeans. You'd think he'd gotten used to them after having to wear them almost every night for the passed year. He wore his red bandana around his neck, out in the open, over a white t-shirt.
He liked spending time with Riley, they met at his actual workplace, and she didn't seem to mind his career as a stripper, unlike his other friends. It was pretty hard to date when a girl knew you had to moonlight as Woody Lightningrod, stripping for women five to six nights a week. Not that he was dating Riley -- but he really was starting to see her in that light. And Vince didn't really think of anyone in that way.
Spotting the girl through the window, Vince grinned, waving at her before entering and taking a seat across from her, "Hey, Riles," he smiled, fidgeting in his seat a bit, trying to find a comfortable position to sit in with the cowboy shorts on, "Alright, mini Vincent is suffocating in my Woody costume..."

Riley waved back and grinned to the side. Her eyes followed him to the door as he walked in. Boy, was he good looking. She looked over his walk which must have been quite uncomfortable. So what if he was a stripper? Vincent was a nice guy who just happened to take his clothes off to make money. At least he wasn't stealing banks.
"Vince! Hey there partner." Riley teased lightly before watching him and raising an eyebrow. She stared for a couple of minutes as he fidgeted then laughed, "Poor thing, that little Vincent." she then sighed quietly. "I'm sorry we haven't been able to hang out." she pursed her lips together before the waitress came by.
"Good afternoon, may I interest you two on a drink?" she asked.
Riley smiled calmly, "Sure." she thought for a moment, "I'll have a chocolate milkshake." she said before looking to Vincent.
"Alrighty! And you sir?" the waitress asked him.

"Aww, it's fine, at least we're spending time together now right?" Vince's eyes lit up when he heard her laugh. It hadn't been too long since they last saw each other, but definitely long enough for him to have missed that laugh, at least a little."Why, have you missed me?" he winked, jokingly, before letting out a hearty chuckle.
Looking up to the waitress as she asked for his order, "I'll have the same --actually, can we share?" he looked to Riley, to make sure it was okay, "We can always use two straws."
He smiled at her. Riley was one of the only constant people in his life who he could talk to without really feeling judged -- and, adding the fact that she was also pretty made him feel pretty good. He'll never forget the night they met. It was cute; she'd been drunk and crying, and Vince wasn't one to leave a girl in that state alone like that. He'd taken her in, regardless of the trouble he might've gotten into with his boss for leaving work early just to take care of a stranger.

Riley looked to Vincent before looking up to the waitress and saying, "Well, the gentleman has spoken. We'll have a chocolate milkshake for two." she said, holding up to fingers and grinning.
"Great, I'll bring that in a sec." the waitress said with a smile before walking away.
A warm feeling rose up to the apples of Riley's cheeks. She, nonetheless kept her eyes on Vincent before widening her eyes and saying, "Are you kidding me? You took away my sleep." she then rested her elbow on the table and brought her fingernails between her teeth as she shifted her eyes up to the ceiling. "I lied around thinking 'What's Vincent up to? Could he have disappeared from the face of the Earth? And if so think of all those ladies he would leave disappointed." Oh come on, as if the ladies didn't come just to see Vincent.
"Oh I drove myself crazy!" Riley knew for a fact that he stole the show. Well, in her mind he did. Actually, he was probably stealing attention right here in this diner. She then smiled brightly, relaxing her arms over the table and saying, "Only joking, but I did miss you." she said with a soft sigh before looking up at him. "Didya' miss me?" she asked him with a goofy smile as she pointed to herself as if she were a great spectacle but simply all joking.
The waitress came by with the milkshake and placed it in front of them.
Riley put her arms down and cleared her throat, "Thank you." she said with a more serious tone before smiling big.

"Oh, Riley, Riley, Riley," Vince flashed her a smirk, raising an eyebrow and resting his arms on the table and leaning forward towards the girl, "You were on my mind day and night!" he crinkled his nose as he grinned. He poked the tip of her cute, little button nose before settling back in his seat, "I just couldn't get those luscious cheekbones of yours out my mind! Let me tell you a secret," Vince bit his lip, leaning forward again, a serious expression on his face, as if he were about to tell Riley the meaning of life, "Every night, when I put on my Woody costume and put on my little cowboy dance," he whispered now, "I thought of you."
He crossed his arms, nodding at her to indicate that he was telling the truth -- which he was, even if he did sound a little like he was joking. He really had missed her. One night at work, even, he was giving a customer a... private dance, and accidentally said, "This goes out to you, Riles." Spending a certain time away from someone really makes a guy think about them quite a lot.

Riley leaned her shoulder closer to Vincent as he leaned closer. She smiled brightly as she watched him speak. Oh, but he was so darling. She then closed her eyes softly when he touched her nose and laughed all too flattered. "My cheekbones?" she put her hands to them and pursed her lips tightly, "Oh these old things, they just like being high." she laughed once again at how silly she might have sounded.
Ooh, secrets. Riley leaned in closer so her ear precisely close to his lips. She shifted her eyes to the side and suddenly her face flushed. Oh but the redness was evident. Riley hit her knee on the table, a thud following the hit.
Was Vincent joking? He must have been, it sounded so silly. Riley chuckled before taking a sip from the milkshake. "Oh but you're lying!" she said, slapping the air. "Do you want to know a secret?" she grinned.

Were those cheeks of hers turning red? Vince smiled, feeling a slight sense of accomplishment. She was adorable. And not little-girl adorable, like, cute-adorable. Attractive-adorable. Whatever that meant. He laughed at the sound of her hitting her knee under the table, but glanced under, concerned for a second until she continued on like normal.
He liked their little playful banter going on, and nodded in amusement when she mentioned a secret... Vince liked secrets. "A secret, you say?" he leaned in closer, lowering his eyes as he looked at Riley, "Lay it on me."

Yes, Riley would lay anything on him, or so she thought. She then scooted closer to him maybe it wasn't a secret for it was quite obvious. However, she was hesitant, it wasn't like he was just any other guy. Vincent was someone who she trusted. Whether it be because he was one of the few people who know about her past and her dark side.
Riley leaned close to his ear and whispered, "It wouldn't have bothered me if you had taken advantage of my drunken state that night we met. I actually would have liked it very much." she lowered her eyes after slowly scooting away. Although she smiled sincerely and brightly as she looked to him. "Yep." she nodded.

Vince raised his eyebrows, a little caught off guard, in a good way. He hadn't expected to hear that, but he smiled, appreciatively, feeling pretty flattered. Sure, he had considered the idea of taking advantage of the girl and sleeping with her during her drunken state the night they'd met, but of course -- he was on the job at the time. Even if he wasn't, it wasn't right to try and sleep with a crying drunk girl. And the thought of taking advantage of her now, Vince wouldn't do that... maybe.
"Ah, but you see, Miss Wade," Vince leaned his chin on his palm, "If you didn't mind... I wouldn't have been taking advantage of you, now would I?" he laughed at himself, "Then again, that is considered rape, which I believe is usually frowned upon..."
