They had to drive all the way out to Statan Island for the wedding chapel, but finally, they were there. She'd made him stop by the apartment so she could change into a white dress and a pair of heels to feel a little bit more like a bride. Yes, she'd worn the dress before, but it was still white and she was still getting married. Carol took his hand and squeezed it as they walked into the little chapel. The man behind the counter smiled at them and told them that there was a couple ahead of them, but they would be next. It seemed a little weird that they could be legally married for $50, but she didn't care. She was minutes away from being Mrs. Wyatt Parks! He showed them their ring collection, and they picked out simple silver bands, knowing that they would eventually go get better ones from an actual jeweler. He took their ring sizes, and then walked away telling them he'd be right back. She admired the ring on her finger, feeling glad that she had someone with such good taste. "Are you nervous?" She asked him, smiling. ooc: Her dress (: www.dillards.com/product/B.-Darlin-Shirred-Sheath-Dress_301_-1_301_503275672?df=03723454_zi

"A little." Well maybe a lot, he said trying to look calm again. "You look beautifal." He said kissing her on the cheek. "I'm glad I get to marry someone as georgous as you." He said. Yeah he was nervous, even though he knew this wasn't a real wedding, but what did it matter, he could finally call Carol his. He played with the band on his finger, this was spontanious, yes, but he was afraid he might change his mind if he had the chance, deep down. He knew he wouldn't but a teeny part of him always wanted to go back to his old self. What if he messed up? What if they broke up? Or something like that. This was his idea, and no matter how badly he wanted to do it, he was doubting himself right now. He hadn't done that with her in... Well it'd been forever. "Are you?" He asked.

Carol thought for a second. "No, I don't think so. I get to marry my best friend. I don't think there's very much to be nervous about." Just then, a young (and obviously pregnant) couple walked out of the double doors, smiling and giggling. They looked so happy. She couldn't help but laugh with them, knowing that in a few minutes, that would be her.
"Right this way," the man said, and motioned for them to walk through the door. Carol took Wyatt's hand again, and the wedding march started. They walked down the isle slowly, and she looked at the people who were paid to be witnesses to the ceremony. She didn't know them, and that felt wrong somehow, but she didn't care. All that mattered was Wyatt.
"Ladies and gentleman, we are gathered here today to celebrate the holy matrimony of..." he looked down on the papers they filled out. "Wyatt Joseph Parks and Carol Anne Maree. If anyone has any reason why these two should not be married, speak now or forever hold your peace." Since they didn't know anyone there, no one obviously said anything. The preacher cleared his throat and turned to Carol. "Do you take Wyatt Parks to be your lawfully wedded husband?" She smiled up at Wyatt, "I do." The man looked over at Wyatt, "And do you take Carol Maree to be your lawfully wedded wife?"

"I do." He said. Looking out at the people, why was he doing that there was no one there that they knew. After what felt like forever of sinlence, the man looked at both of them. "Then I now pronounce you..." The man looked at both of them. "Married." He said. "Blah blah blah... you can kiss the bride." He said to Wyatt, and he did, until the man standing bewhind them rolling his eyes stopped them and said, "Good now get out of here, there's people waiting to get married." Wyatt chuckled as he lead Carol out of the hall, and just like that he was married. He never thought it would happen that fast, but now she was his forever, and that was all he wanted.
ooc: I don't know how weddings go, and it's to early forme to google it so I hope this is good. Also I'm sorry this sucks I just woke up.

Carol was bouncing with joy as they walked out of the chapel. She was finally Mrs. Wyatt Parks! Five years of being head over heels in love with this man, and they were finally legally wed!
If she had been thinking clearly, she would have realized how awful everyone she loved was going to feel once they found out what they did. Her mother and sister were going to scream for hours about how she wasn't just some silly little girl who can run off and do silly little things like eloping. But at the time, she didn't care. She had everything she'd ever wanted! Everyone else could just shut up, because she was now a married woman, and nothing could be better than that!
She took her hand in his and wrapped her other arm around his bicep as they walked outside. "How does it feel to be a married man, Mr. Parks?" She asked him with the biggest smile on her face.
ooc: He better call her Mrs. Parks XD

"Well, Mrs.Parks, it feels amazing." He said, grinning at her. "So." He said. "Where should we go for our honeymoon." He joked. Honestly, he felt the same, but being married to her wasn't a big change, they were still the same, they were going to see each other all the time, but now insted of being girlfriend and boyfriend, they were husband a wife. It was offical now, which made it better in some ways, but it was pretty much the same, and the same was good, because he loved her, he wasn't going to leave her just because they were married, and if he messed up they'd work through it. "You don't think everyone's going to be mad that they missed our wedding right?" He asked. They should just get over it, maybe they didn't want to have a huge wedding. Why would people care if they got invited or not? He didn't really think it was a big deal.

"I'd same home is a good place to start," she said giving him a kiss before she got in the car. She thought about what everyone would do once they found out about them being married now. They would probably be mad. Especially Esme, Thalia, Kegan, and Avery. They were her best friends, and she'd always sworn that they would be in her wedding, but now... "Well maybe we can have a big ceremony later. I know people who do that. We could write vows, have a reception, invite our families...we'd just explain to them that we decided that getting married now was the best decision for us." She tried sounding confident, but she wasn't sure how well it came off. Either way, their friends/families would just have to deal.
She shook her head, and then smiled at him. "I doesn't matter right now. Let's go home and make this marriage official!"
ooc: Want to go ahead to their apartment in Chelsea now?
