Raine was about to walk outside to the car when James pulled her back and handed her a squirming little ball of fur and announced that the dog's name was Dallas which explained the little bone shaped tag that he had on his collar that said 'Dallas'. Now, the name was definitely something that she wasn't planning on keeping but the dog was perfectly adorable!
She skipped to the car and sat down in the passenger seat before holding the puppy towards Elliot, "Baby! Look at him!" She cooed affectionately as the puppy tried to fight his way out of her grip so he could play with this new nice smelling man. His little tongue was just licking at the air as he tried to get over to who he assumed was going to be his new best friend, how could anyone not love him? He was adorable!
"I can't wait for little needs a new name to meet Puddles and Pickles." She was just excited to go home and see the dogs and maybe take a nap. She wasn't entirely sure if she wanted to actually put the work into potty training a puppy but she couldn't just give him back to James! "He said that his name is Dallas but we're definitely changing it.... You can name him if you'd like to, Ellie Boo Boo." She didn't know why she had decided to give him a nickname but it seemed like a good idea at the time.

He shut the trunk and sat in the drivers seat. His parents loaded up in the back and put their seat belts on. Raine was the last to get in as he started up the car. What the hell did she have in her hand? No, no! There was no way she was keeping it. No, no possibility, no chance in - ahh it was so cute. "Elliot looked at the little curly ball of cuteness and then to Raine. "I don't even want to know." He said, a little put off. He assumed the dog was from James judging by it's name. He agreed it would need to be changed.
He let out a giving in sigh and smiled at it. "If we're keeping it, we're naming it Binx like.. Jar Jar Binks from Starwars." He nodded and backed out of the driveway. He could feel his nerves setting in now but he tried to focus everything onto the icy road.
