Esme raised a brow, he wanted to try the bibble now? He didn't want to wait until later? Later like never? She wasn't sure if she was ready to share yet! She pursed her lips before grabbing another bag of bibble along with a couple of other delicious treats, "How about we pay for this stuff then walk around the boardwalk? You can try bibble and we can walk and talk, just bond!" She was so trying to stall so he would hopefully forget that he wanted to try it.
Was that stingy? Probably.
It wasn't her fault that she had a bibble addiction! He should be blaming the creators of bibble!

Mark looked to her as he grabbed a few bars of white chocolate and two candied apples; one for Amelie. He then smirked, sneaking behind her and saying, "I'm gonna get some. Just you watch, little red." he then walked toward the cashier register. "Yes, bond... We're probably gonna end up in the water, trying to use the biddle as a lifesaver." he laughed before placing the things and then looking to her, "Put your stuff. It's on me." he said. Mark did have money to spend for the day and anyways it wasn't like he hung around with Esme on the daily. He liked doing nice things for his friends.

"Oh! If you're sure!" Esme didn't really know how she felt about him paying for her stuff but she wasn't going to complain since it was a nice gesture and all. She placed her stuff on the counter and couldn't help but think about what Hudson would say if he knew that she was hanging out with a semi-attractive single man alone... Would he think that she was cheating?
She hadn't even thought about cheating on him since the Wyatt incident when they'd all gone camping, "Dude! You will not use bibble as anything but a delicious snack even if we're drowning in the ocean."

Mark shook his head as the cashier scanned everything and gave him the total charge. He took out his wallet and the amount due, the cashier took the money and then placed the stuff in bags before handing him the items and the receipt. He then turned to Esme and gestured toward the exit. He wasn't afraid of her husband finding out or anything. They were simply friends who enjoyed candy and walks on the boardwalk... What was so wrong about that? Mark respected the ring.
"Something wrong?" he asked her, she suddenly got all pensive.
